Maybe I’m crazy here, but I trust Microsoft tools a lot. I think they have the most to gain by making their software safe.
Gadget guy you couldn’t be more wrong, The more times your system crashes the more you most likely phone microsoft first then take to a pc shop who most of time want to reinstall windows and most people buy there pc’s with pre-installed operating systems meaning they have to pay for the recovery disk or buy new one from microsoft, In turn creating profit
Microsoft wouldn’t be making the profit it does without virus’s and reasons to keep selling more and more software to protect you, If they wanted it so secure they would have made sure windows has a built in antivirus that works great not windows defender which is crap but a proper anti virus
At end of day only time you will get a good av if you go to a company who only does anti virus software, Ones who make other software will not have there priority’s in the right order to put virus’s first, As there is over 1000 virus’s released daily at least, If you want an anti-virus just buy kaspersky PURE and you will be safe from most on line attacks.
