Search Warrant Required to see my ID

I like personal rights violation stories, which is why this one on boing-boing caught my eye. The short version is that a lady was riding a bus, doing nothing wrong, was asked for her ID, and she refused on the grounds that the authority figure had no right to ask for her ID. After several other authority figures were involved, she was arrested, her phone tossed away, and she was given several tickets and a court date. The ACLU jumps in and offers free legal help, but the damage is already done. Guides
