Phishing Alert: Johnson Bank

WebsenseŽ Security Labs has received reports of a new phishing attack that targets customers of Johnson Bank. Users receive a spoofed email, which claims that their account has been accessed from a foreign IP address and will be suspended unless there is user intervention. Users are given a link to a fraudulent website, where they are prompted to enter their user ID and password. In the event an online account does not exist, users are prompted to enter their Social Security number. After entering the requested information, users are asked for their name, credit card number, cvv2 and pin. This phishing site is hosted in Thailand and was down at the time of this alert.
