What's Google Hiding?
Google's gotten a lot of "right-on" plaudits for its refusal to comply with government subpoenas for information about porn-related searches. It all seemed phony to me; all their competitors ever gave up was aggregate data, so nobody's privacy was violated. So why is Google resisting?
I'm intrigued by this take in Forbes that says that Google's benefit from such porn searches is much greater than the other major engines: What's Google Hiding?
