Hotmail targeted computer viruses could attack China
Experts on Sunday warned Chinese computer users to be wary of a worm virus designed for the Hotmaile-mail system, which is likely to break out next week.
It is the first time that China has detected a worm virus targeting Hotmail during Internet supervision, and the damage caused by this virus will be increased as the number of Hotmail users grows quickly, announced the Tianjin-based National Computer Virus Emergency Response Center.
Experts with the center said the virus could spread through the Internet, which would cause heavy losses to company users when they log on to their Hotmail accounts to receive e-mails. Xinhua - English
