Security bureau hacked
HACKERS broke into the computer network of the National Security Bureau (NBÚ) and managed to spend several days copying official data undetected.
On April 26, NBÚ Director Ivan Goldschmidt admitted that a security failure had occurred, but said that no classified information had leaked.
Based on information that the SME daily obtained from the hacker community, hackers got into four different NBÚ servers that had poor security last year. Through the servers they entered the computer network and gained access to different data, including email correspondence between NBÚ employees, without the server administrator's knowing about it.
