Virus levels drop as spyware soars
Fewer viruses are being detected, but spam and spyware continues to plague enterprise networks. As organisations have got better at dealing with the threat from viruses, they have found that spam and spyware are continuing to clog up their systems, according to the latest figures from SoftScan.
Just 0.37 percent of all e-mails scanned by SoftScan in May contained a virus. This was the lowest proportion that SoftScan has ever recorded, it said. Virus levels drop as spyware soars: ZDNet Australia: News: Security
