National Nuclear Safety Administration Hacked


A computer hacker stole the personal records of at least 1,500 employees and contractors at the National Nuclear Safety Administration, a Reuters article on WashingtonPost.com reports.

The article states the hack occurred in September 2005, but top Energy Department officials were not notified until last week. The chairman of the House of Representatives Energy and Commerce Committee subsequently demanded the immediate resignation of the head of the NNSA.
