Teacher Of Year Indicted On Child Porn Charges
A Canton man once nominated for a national Teacher of the Year award has been indicted on federal child pornography charges.
The FBI says Michael Honnold had more than 100 images of young children on a personal computer and is facing two counts of receiving and distributing kiddie porn and one count of possession.
The 33-year-old Honnold is the former band director for GlenOak High School in the Plain Local school district, but officials said none of the allegations involve any district students. The schools superintendent says Honnold was removed last April after the district was contacted by the FBI. NewsNet5.com - News - 'Teacher Of Year' Indicted On Child Porn Charges
