Anti hack update for PSP software
A new version of the PSP's operating software has been released to convince users to upgrade their gadgets.
Sony is keen to get people using the new firmware to stamp out hacks that let people run non-Sony software, emulators and stolen games.
The new version closes the loophole that let people downgrade to earlier firmware versions that could be hacked.
It also lets people watch video via wi-fi networks and adds support for copyright-protected video. BBC NEWS | Technology | Anti-hack update for PSP software
