Installation of state sanctioned spyware begins
Viettel began installation of customer information monitoring software at all of its Internet agents. Other companies including FPT, VDC and Saigon Postel will begin the task prior to August 1.
According to the rules of the Ministry of Post and Telematics, the software will collect customer information including name, age, address, and other personal information, especially the IPs of websites that they visit. Managers can access the software to monitor visits to and update lists of blacklisted websites. VietNamNet Bridge
