Virtual attacker arrested in Hanoi
Vietnamese cyber police arrested Monday a sophomore for carrying out distributed denial of service (DDos) attacks on web sites managed by a Hanoi based company "just for fun".
The young hackerís name could not be revealed before further investigation, said C15, a special police unit to combat online crime.
The police said the student, who administered several music forums, had exploited forum membersí personal computers to launch attacks on web sites hosted at the Internet servers of Nhan Hoa Software Company. Vietnam latest news - Thanh Nien Daily
