Microsoft lands big phish with new partnership
Microsoft is betting big on its Phishing Filter for Internet Explorer (IE). According to a recent press release from Digital Resolve, a company that deals specifically with preventing online fraud, it has agreed to provide the Redmond giant with data feeds from its Trusted Server Technology. While Digital Resolve's data isn't the only pipeline that the company is using to acquire important phishing information, it is nevertheless a major addition to Microsoft's list of partners.
Digital Resolve's Trusted Server Technology will not provide Microsoft with a list of phishing sites. Instead, the feed will give Microsoft a list of safe sites. M-Dollar: Microsoft lands big phish with new partnership
