OS X flaw could lead to DoS attack
Secunia has reported a low risk vulnerability in Mac OS X, which could be exploited to cause a denial of service (DoS).
The vulnerability exists due to an error in the "fpathconf()" syscall when it is called with an unsupported file type and can be exploited to cause a system panic. It has been confirmed in OS X 10.4.8 although other versions may also be affected.
Until Apple releases a fix, Secunia advises that administrators only grant trusted users access to affected systems. PC Pro: News: OS X flaw could lead to DoS attack
