Security anti predictions for 2007
It's the New Year and aside from giving up smoking, getting fit and laying off the beer, it's also the time when many of us gaze into our crystal balls and try to accurately predict the coming trends in IT and security over the coming year. The problem is, it's increasingly difficult to do.
Letís face it, the art of predicting with certainty what will occur in the coming twelve months is exactly that Ė art. It is easy to throw out some fairly benign predictions in the hope that some will be true and most will not be noticed to be not true by year end. So instead, and for what it is worth, I offer a handful of anti-predictions.
