India Security agencies demand ban on email attachments
Got an attachment with your email? Wait a second, it may be loaded with a virus. Hackers are now sending emails with attachments replete with viruses which can delve into the receiverís confidential documents.
As a precautionary measure, E security agencies like Foundation of Information Security and Technology (FIST), MIEL and Cynapse are sounding an alert to internet users and demanding an official ban on e-mail attachments. According to them, e-mails with attachments from unknown sources are the most dangerous, as ninety per cent of them are sure to carry viruses. Security agencies demand ban on e-mail attachments
