The Business Software Alliance (BSA)launches a New Cyber Safety Website
The Business Software Alliance (BSA), a watchdog group representing the nation's leading software manufacturers, launched a new Web site today -- http://www.bsacybersafety.com -- to help consumers and businesses protect themselves against online fraud and other risks and enjoy the full benefits and opportunities of the connected digital landscape.
The Cyber Safety site provides computer users with useful information on how to protect themselves from the possible risks that may spoil their online experience. The site features a Cyber Safety Glossary that identifies the most common online threats, provides easy-to-understand descriptions of them, and offers tips for avoiding those threats.
The site also presents guidelines for a safe online shopping experience, links to useful sites such as the Council for Better Business Bureaus (CBBB) and the Federal Trade Commission (FTC), and information about security products and technology. A contact feature enables visitors to ask BSA experts Internet safety questions. - Online Cyber Safety - Business Software Alliance
