Know Your Malware: Accid Removal
Accid is an Internet worm that spreads via MSN Messenger through instant messages and online chat conversations. The parasite is installed by following malicious links that messages sent from already infected hosts contain. Once executed, Accid silently installs itself to the system and disables some standard Windows tools like the Task Manager and Registry Editor. The worm does not carry a destructive payload. Accid automatically runs on every Windows startup.
