ZoneAlarm to offer security software for free today

CheckPoint Software Technologies Ltd, the makers of the famed ZoneAlarm range of security products will give away full versions of ZoneAlarm ForceField software on Tuesday, August 12.

This promotion will run for 24 hours starting at 6.00AM PDT, running concurrently with Microsoft’s Patch Tuesday. The offer includes a full year license for one PC, and is limited to only one download per customer. ZoneAlarm ForceField is Check Point’s virtualized browser security solution.     Pity I missed the offer ;( It’s interesting though that anti-malware manufacturers began offering free licenses for up to a year instead of 30-day trials.
